The playoff football game against Eads is now Monday at 1pm in order to accommodate the safest travel for Eads. We are working on a school plan for the day and will get it out soon. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

We did our best to keep school open, but with high winds, blowing snow, and more snow in the forecast, school is cancelled today, Nov 7th. Stay safe and warm!

Good morning, Sierra Grande students, staff, and families. Due to wind and weather conditions, we will be on a 2-hour delay for safety. Buses will run 2 hours later, and school will start at 9:45 a.m. We’ll keep you updated with any changes. Stay safe!

Hello staff, I know some SLV schools have already canceled, but I’m holding off on a decision since the forecast may shift overnight. I’ll reassess early tomorrow and am currently leaning toward a two-hour delay. This is always a tough call, especially in Nov—thank you for your patience. I’ll announce by 5:30 am.
